Simulation and analysis of LEACH in WSN
LEACH is a clustering and routing protocol which is widely used in WSN. It saves energy of nodes through the coordination of the special head nodes so as to improve the performance of the whole network. We mainly discuss the simulation process of this protocol in this paper. Basic principles and process of the procol are described firsiiy,and then we introduced the common usage of NS-2. We demonstrate the simulation process of LEACH using NS-2 in Linux and result show that LEACH is not a perfect protocol as it claims in fact.
