Design of Evacuation Routes Based on Cellular Automata and Genetic Algorithm

Aiming at improving the efficiency of evacuation for the indoor public places,a cellular automata based evacuation model considering pedestrian behavior dynamics and architectural structure is proposed. Evacuation process without barriers is simulated and pedestrian flow distribution around the room is calculated. According to maximum podosmiion flow and space-symmetrical distrlbation,genctie algorition is devised to find the set of evatoations. The model is implemented by C++ language and achieves reasonable results.
