Matrix Operation of Anti-aliasing Algorithm for 4ingle-scale Discrete Wavelet Transform
The single-scale reconstruction of the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is an important tool for feature extraction of signal processing. However, the popular convolution operation of this method entails an unacceptable time cost when analyzing the large volume of signals. And whats worse, this method is usually invalided by the frequency aliasing inherent in the DWT. In this paper,a novel algorithm is proposed to combine the anti-aliasing algorithm with the matrix operation for the single-scale wavelet reconstruction. The validity and efficiency of the proposed algorithm are testified with the simulation study. The results reveal that the proposed matrix operation of the single-scale wavelet reconstruction effectively removes the aliasing frequencies and significantly reduces the time cost of processing. Therefore, the proposed algorithm can serve as a reliable and fast alternative approach in practical application.
