A RF Circuit for Overhauser Magnetometer Excitation
Overhauser magnetometer is a device for magetostatic field measurement,RF excitation is necessary for nitrogen oxygen free radical solution. In this paper,design methods coupled with simulations of a RF circuits used in Overhauser magnetometer are presented. Functionally,a RF circuit consists of three parts,namely RF signal source,RF power amplifier and the load. Generation of a 70MHz RF signal will be described. Power amplification aimed to acquire the gain of 13-16dB will be presented. Finally we get a continuous sine wave of 70MHz,4-5W. We have validated that a linear polarization magnetic field is successfully generated inside the birdcage coil which meets the requirements of the Overhauser magnetometer. In this paper a number of conclusions are based on RF circuit simulation software ADS.
