A Novel Locating Algorithm for Network Optimization in Cellular Network

With the increasing demand of high quality of service in cellular network,dropped calls and weak signals problem should be solved via effective ways. Combining location of mobile stations (MS) with wireless communication parameters in solving network optimization problems is promising. In this paper,we proposed a novel locating method for network optimization which has integrated normal distribution method to improve the locating accuracy. The objective of locating algorithm design is to provide operators information for network optimization. Moreover,we proposed a IMSI and TMSI tracing method for the system. This proposed locating algorithm provides an efficient way for operators to analyze dropped calls,weak signals and users location so that wireless communication environment will be optimized. The implementation of the proposed system functions based on our locating algorithm is presented under Zhongshan Guangdong environment.
