A Self-referencing Fiber Optic Intensity Sensor Using FBG and Tunable F-P Filter

We have proposed and implemented a self-referencing fiber optic intensity sensor which consists of BLS,two FBGs,and tunable F-P filter. The theoretical analysis for the proposed system is presented and the experimental results are shown to validate the theoretical analysis for the input optical power change and the FBGs with different characteristics. The experimental results show that the theoretical analysis is valid and the proposed system has selfreferencing characteristic.
