Analysis of Heterodyne Detection System based on the Subcarrier Modulation

On off key (OOK) is the main optical wireless communication modulation mode,but the scintillation noise caused by atmosphere turbulence had a strong impact on OOK optical communication system and it is hard to remove . Setting subcarrier modulating mode at transmitter,and Optical heterodyne detection communication system at receiver,this paper analyzes the relationship between error rate and Signal-toNoise while using ASK subcarrier modulating method at transmitter.
