Simplified Motion Capture Algorithm for Single-accelerometer Wireless Motion Capture System

摘要：

We propose simplified motion capture algorithm for multi-target single-accelerometer system,an extension of linear transformation that is uniquely effective for detecting motions caused by pitching and rolling. The proposed algorithm is capable of attaining an angle of rotation and its axis regardless of actual mounting positions of 3-axis accelerometers. Furthermore,the paper also presents how the algorithm can be inserted into a singleaccelerometer wireless motion capture system.
