New Algorithms for Strap-down Inertial Navigation System

Classical algorithms of strap-down inertial system often use angular rate and specific force or angular increment and velocity increment. It cant be applied to strap-down inertial system whose output signals are angular rate and velocity increment. To solve the problem and meet precision requirement,a set of new navigation algorithms are developed. Four-order Runge-Kutta method is adopted in attitude update. A new velocity update algorithm is deduced which can compensate sculling effect. The ladder algorithm of position update is given. In the end,flight trajectory of missile is simulated and SINS algorithms are simulated and validated.
