Research on Validity of EDFA Gain Competition Attack in Optical Networks

摘要：

Security problems of optical networks are very serious now. One of convenient and effective attack methods is the use of EDFA gain competition effect. This paper researches on realization principles of gain competition based on two deficiencies of EDFA. The validity of EDFA gain competition attack is proved by simulation and experiment. The result indicates that the attack method is implemented easily,the effect is evidence,and the operation is favorable.
