Along with the development of world economic globalization, more and more small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) begin to participate in the international industrial chain. This paper proposes the new concept of SMEs with their participation in the international division of labor and international operation, the export-oriented supporting model, which is based on the concept of supporting enterprises. Today, this model is the relatively common for SMEs in the global context. First we propose the definition of this model and provide the development path for SMEs which suits them. It can be generally divided into following three phases: domestic supporting, export supporting, and abroad supporting. About these three phases, this paper analyzes their features and the dynamic path so as to provide the related theories for the international operation of SMEs.
