A Mobile Architecture to Real-time Device Safety Monitoring of Amusement Park Ride Based on the Internet of Things

The objective of this paper is to shed light on possible areas for improvement within the amusement ride and device safety by proposing a state-of-the-art model to real-time monitoring based on the Internet of Things. To this end, the system framework is demonstrated, followed by the mobile architecture underlying the new approach. Conclusion can be made that the proposed model can serve as great enhancement to the currently regular check by manual labors of the staff. The results of this study also indicate that not only can this model give remote surveillance of the facilities for real-time requirement to provide danger forecasts so as to guarantee the patron safety, but also serve as a complementary for tourism companies or enterprises to use as a key management vehicle for effectively reducing the operation overhead on manpower and other material resources.
