A Brief Analysis of the Impact of Green Barriers on Textile Export in Zhejiang
In recent years, international textile trade, an important constituent of the international trade, has been impeded by green barriers. As such concepts as clean production, green products and ecological textile have swept into the community of international textile trade, US, Japan, EU and other developed countries have formulated an array of strict environmental laws and regulations, supplemented by stringent environmental measures, thus casting a severe impact on textile export in Zhejiang. This paper, using the analysis method of theory with practice, by analyzing the impact of green barriers on textile export in Zhejiang, is intended to recommend some feasible countermeasures to decision-makers and entrepreneurs. The conclusion of this paper is: government, chambers of commerce and associations play a key role in green barriers on textile export in Zhejiang.
