Study on Exit Mechanism for Private Equity Investment in China
There are three steps in the operation of private equity investment, including financing, project selection and exit. The exit mechanism is one of the most important problems, because only with complete and smooth exit mechanism can we ensure a successful circulation of private equity investment. For lack of the financial system design, there are still some barriers in the exit mechanism of private equity, which seriously restrict the development of private equity market in our country. The thesis is about some realistic reflections of the exit mechanism of private equity based on the current economic situation and then analyses the current situation and problems of exit mechanism for private equity. At last, it puts forward several recommendations on the improvement of exit mechanism of private equity on the basis of former analysis of relative theories and practical problems. It suggests that we should develop the multi-level capital markets to enrich exit mechanism of private equity in China, which is also the final purpose of writing this paper.
