Research on Structural and Quantitative Model of Activity-based BOM in the Coal Industry ERP
The design and implementation of BOM (Bill of Material) are crucial to the successful application of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) in a coal enterprise. This author will endeavor in this paper is to establish a BOM model based on activity in the coal industry. This paper will discuss in detail why the Activity-based BOM is the inevitable choice for ERP in the coal industry; it will analyze the characteristics of Activity-based BOM in a coal enterprise and establish the structural model and the quantitative model of an Activity-based BOM and project its implementation in the coal industry. The author believes that the exploration of the designing approach to an activity-based BOM model will be helpful not only in improving the quality of material management but also in implementing successfully activity-based ERP in the coal industry.
