Isolation, Identification and Characterization of Four oil degrading Strains
Using crude oil as the sole carbon source, four indigenous microorganisms with oil degradation, JH250-5, JH250-8, JH250-10, and JH250-12, were isolated from heavy oil polluted soil. The oil degradation rate of JH2S0-8 was over 90% which was much higher than other strains. 16RNA gene sequencing results showed those four strains are all belong to Acinetobucter. GC and GC-MS analysis indicate that, the four strains mainly degrade the hydrocarbons of crude oil. Those strains have the potential application value in decontamination of oil pollution or alkane degrading reactions.
