Empirical Research on the Factors Have an Influence on Rural Womens Political Participation

摘要：

This study aims to examine what kinds of factors have an important influence on the Chinese rural womens political participation. On the basis of existed research six factors were selected including economic income, educational level, gender-bias, age, government factor, social factor. For these factors the data were gathered with questionnaire from villagers from Tianhe office of the streets at Weihai in Shandong province of China who are randomly drawn, and then were done statistical analyses. The results show that a causal relationship exists between gender-bias, government factor and the rural womens political participation, while other factors have no causal relationship with the rural womens political participation.
