Womens Perspective on the Law
With a womens perspective on the law, we pay more attention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. Women should have the rights of acquiring the equal status, having the same job opportunities, receiving the same education, attending the same public activities and participation in the same decision process as the man. The law is an indispensable means in order to realize these ideas, But our present womens legal system lacks internal consistency, of which the parts do not fit together, no complementary and nor harmonization. Womens rights and interests should be protected as the focus of legislation. On one hand, the existing womens law need to be perfected by enhancing the feasibility, on the other hand, the supporting regulation s for the formulation of legislation needs to be strengthened to expand womens overall effect and form a set of legal system on womens rights and promoting gender equality in order to achieve gender equality in essence.
