The Researches on Positive Psychological Capital and Coping Style of Female University Graduates in the Course of Seeking Jobs

Objective: This research explored the characteristics of female university graduates positive psychological capital and their coping styles during seeking jobs and the relationship between them. Methods: The questionnaires on the positive psychological capital and coping styles were applied to 426 female university graduates of three universities in a certain area of China. The data was counted and analyzed by using SPSS16.0. Conclusion: (1) The overall level of female university graduates positive psychological capital during seeking jobs is relatively high and the level of consistency is relatively good. (2) Female university graduates are mainly used the mature, active coping styles to deal with difficulties and setbacks, showing a mature and stable personality characteristics and behavior style. (3) There are some significant differences of female university graduates positive psychological capital and their coping styles in demographic variables. (4) Positive psychological capital have a significant positive correlation with the mature coping style factor; the stepwise regression results show that positive psychological capital factors have a significant predictive effect on the mature factor of coping styles. Suggestion: Train and develop female university graduates positive psychological capital effectively, which makes them deal with employment situations with a positive attitude and to promote their employment effectively.
