On Women Librarians Career Development in Modern Libraries

Women, as an important part of human resources, have played a positive role in social, economic and human development. Library is a typical place where many women librarians prefer to work, whose career development concerns whether libraries display their functions. Women librarians are the main force in the library. The library authority should pay more attention to the optimum distribution of human resources as well as women librarians characters, bring their role into full play, create favorable conditions for them to develop from ideas and regulations, help them scientifically plan their career and promote the development of library industry. This article focuses on women librarians unique advantages, hindrances in their career development and countermeasures in modern libraries.
