Three-dimensional finite element analysis of temperature field and thermal stress of tube sheet in U-tube SG model
By use of the finite element method, threedimensional temperature field and thermal stress analysis is applied to tube sheet in U-tube nuclear steam generator model in a steady state. The ANSYS parametric design language (APDL) is adopted to establish the parametric model of one half tube sheet, which includes parts of the shell, tube sheet and tubes. A sequentially analysis of coupled thermal-stress was employed to perform numerical simulation of the temperature field and thermal stress. The highest stress and stress distribution are given. In addition, strength check is also carried out.
