Study on Developing Strategy for Pharmaceutical Enterprises in the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula in View of Essential Drug System
Essential drug system has deeply affected the development of Chinese pharmaceutical industry. Pharmaceutical market faces great changes of structure. During the 12th five-year planning , with the issues of Planning of the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula and Reform pilot project of the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula, Chinese government proposed development planning of industrial cluster including pharmaceutical industrial cluster, new pharmacy becomes a strategic emerging industry. With the establishment of essential drug system, it urgently needs to be solved that how pharmaceutical enterprises in the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula will develop in the future. In this article, the author put forward some developing strategies for pharmaceutical enterprises in the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula, combining the Planning of the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula with national essential drug system. The author argue there are two kinds of tactics for the pharmaceutical enterprises in essential drug list, including internal development and external development, and the other out of the list should consider the necessity of being in the essential drug list. At last the author argue all pharmaceutical enterprises in the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula should try to build large cross-region pharmaceutical industrial cluster and actively participate international competition and cooperation, especially with Japan and South Korea.
