The Conception of Developing Regimen Travel in China
It is necessary and possible to develop regimen tourism in China thanks to the long history of Chinese regimen culture, its rich tourist resources and the change of tourists demands as well. Through comparing and on-the-spot investigation methods, market position and theme design are conducted in this paper on the basis of the study of the three major tourist generating markets, which are the elderly market, the middle-aged intellectuals and the foreign enterprise employees and overseas market. Chinese regimen tourism can be positioned as a new type of travel which can make people keep in good health and nurse peoples physical and mental health. At the same time, three models of developing regimen tourism, i.e. regimen garden, study course by traveling and volunteer of interest are put forward so as to put up a basic frame for the development of regimen tourism in China.
