High density heat transportation system by using phage change slurries

Latent heat transportation systems with phase change particles in water are one of promising items on thermal energy saving, because they can reduce flow rate and have temperature sustainability. Their features cause the reduction of pumping energy for thermal energy transportation and the heat transfer enhancement, respectively. In this paper, the methods for fluidization of latent heat transportation slurries with surfactants were also discussed. The miniaturizing effects were introduced for refrigeration systems as an example in this paper. From the results, it was concluded that the present latent heat transportation systems are very effective not only for thermal energy saving, but also for process intensification, miniaturization of heat devices.
