GRINDING CHARACTERISTIC OF MULTI WALLED CARBON NANOTUBES-ALUMINA COMPOSITE
The objective of this paper is to investigate the grinding characteristics of Aluminium oxide powder (Alumina) and multi-walled carbon nano-tube (CNT) combination for making nanoparticle. Nanoparticle is the main part of the nano fluid. Furthermore, particle structure, particle size, particle geometry etc. There are 2 different ways to extract nanoparticles such as chemical and physical methods. The objective of this paper is use physical method to extract nanoparticles by using planetary ball mill and investigate their grinding characteristics. With this work, used 2 types of combinations have been grinded in 2 types of grinding, such as wet grinding and dry grinding. Firstly, raw materials have been grinded respectively. Thereby combine grinded products and grinded previous condition. Secondly, combined raw materials and grinded directly. All figures have been taken by Scanning Electron Microscope.
