Optimization design and software development for star style steam injection network in heavy oil field
An optimization model for two level star steam injection network for heavy oil field was established, in which the minimal annual cost was taken as the objective function. The object function included the amortized investment and run charge of every year. According to the configuration characteristics of the model, the optimization problem was divided into levels, and solved by Powell algorithm. A calculation and graphics software was developed by using the VBA technology in AutoCAD for the engineers. Practical cases indicated that the model and the developed software makes the oilfield get very good economic benefit.
