A Study on the Thermal Performance of Thermosyphon Inserted Vacuum Tube Type Solar Heat Collector
A double vacuum tube type solar heat collector and a heat pipe inserted single vacuum tube type solar heat collector are popular as a new and clean energy system for building energy saving. The double vacuum tube type is frequently broken by thermal stress and bending momentum on the bended parts due to its long length over 1.5m. The heat pipe inserted single vacuum tube has leakage, which can decrease the vacuum degree, between the heat pipe and the glass cover. Therefore, a high performance solar heat collector, which has high vacuum degree and high absorption of solar radiation, is designed and evaluated.
