Experimental Analysis of Factors Affecting Frost Accumulation under Intermittent Running Conditions
A common phenomenon in refrigeration is the frost formation on the surface of cold fan under the intermittent running conditions with complex affecting factors. This paper experimentally analyzed the factors affecting the frost formation on the surface of the cold fan including the running ratio, the air relative humidity and the temperature of the surface of the cold fan. The relative humidity range included 100%, 85% and 70%. The surface temperature range was from -9℃ to -22℃. And the running ratio was from 0.6 to 3.6. The results showed that the frost formation has a strong relationship with the running ratio under intermittent running conditions.
