Develop the Food Equipment Manufacturing Industry Support the Development of Food Industry
Food is the first necessity of the people, it has a strong bearing on peoples livelihood, health, economic progress and social harmony.Since 2000, China food industry has been growing at a remarkable rate averaging near to 20％ per annum.The output value of its total industrial was nearly 4.2 trillion RMB in 2008, as the fastest growing, it has become one of ten pillar industries of national economy.Food and packaging machinery industry is an important industry to provide technical equipment for the food industry, which is commissioned with the important task of pulling the value-added of farm produce, increasing income for farmers and upgrading the structure of the food industrial .So, it plays an important role in the development of the food industry.Food and packaging machinery industry is the carrier of achieving the development of food science and technology.The progress of food science and technology propel the development of food and packaging machinery industry much more.In recent years the development of food science and technology has made great achievements, but it still has many deficiencies.This report analyzes the development history of food and packaging machinery industry, the achievements of food science and technology, the problems existing in the development course of food and packaging machinery industry and the development direction of China food and packaging machinery industry under the impact of the financial crisis.
