RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LONGITUDINAL STRESS WAVE VELOCITY AND MOISTURE CONTENT OF CATHAY POPLAR
In this paper, we study the relationship between longitudinal stress wave transit velocity and moisture content.While the moisture content is below 60%, by normalizing the stress wave transit velocity V with value near 0 moisture content V0, all curves about the dependence of wave transit velocity on position under the same moisture content collapse into one master curve which shows the linear relationship of V/V0 and moisture content.
