EFFECT OF GAS DISTRIBUTING BOARD STRUCTURE ON OPERATING PERFORMANCE OF FLUIDIZED BED
In this paper, the aerodynamics and drying properties of fluidized bed with oblique and vertical holes gas distribution board were studied.The experiment was performed in a pilot scale fluidized bed with the diameter of cylindrical drying chamber D=240mm.The tested materials were Teflon particles and cane sugar.The experimental results indicate that a gas distribution board with oblique holes can generate revolving air flow.The operating performance of fluidized bed with oblique holes gas distributing board is similar to a vibrated fluidized bed to some extent.And the investigation put forward an interesting fact that the critical moisture of cane sugar in a vibrated fluidized bed with oblique holes board was less than that in the dryer with vertical holes board.
