Guanxi with Government Officials, Lobbying and Business Group Performance in Transition China: A Theoretical Framework

摘要：

This study identifies the critical role of guanxi with government officials in helping business group gain favorable policy support and shape positive competition environment in transition China. We are to build a theoretical framework that the positive relationship between guanxi with government officials and organizational performance is mediated by lobbying and moderated by two institutional factors (pragmatic legitimacy and industrial regulatory pressure).
