A Key Extending Scheme and Its Application Basing on DNA Coding Technology

A key extending scheme based on DNA coding technology is proposed by applying the gradually consummate gene database in the field of cryptography. The scheme improves the independence and the strict avalanche of the key by using a key extending matrix. Because the random number can be directly generated by the DNA sequence, so the speed of the computation is greatly improved without additional hardware facilities, which is especially suitable for software implementation. And the key generated is more difficulty to mutually deduce and bears higher sensitivity. Therefore, it may be widely applied in the fields of block cipher, digital signature, identity authentication, etc.
