Bacterial foraging optimization algorithm based on Ecology Colony
According to the basic chemotactic behavior of bacteria and growth of evolution, proposes free distribution of colony optimization algorithm. According to bacterias own energy state in the process of chemotaxis, this algorithm demarcates the state of bacterias breeding and demise; acording to the energy gain of bacteria, distinguish the case of too long life cycle from insufficient energy gain; in the guidance of simplest random behavior and swimming step, testing experiment of this algorithm shows that colony BFO presents the same performance as standard BFO and even can be better in solving some problems whereas has more simple operation.
