NUMERICAL PREDICTION FOR THE ELASTIC PROPERTIES OF 3D FULL 5-DIRECTIONAL BRAIDED COMPOSITES CONSIDERING ADHESIVE LAYERS
Considering the effect of adhesive layers between adjacent yarns,a new FEM model of representative unit cell is established,which more really simulates the inner meso-structures of the 3D full 5-directional braided composites.Then,the effective elastic property parameters are obtained by FEM calculation and compared with the corresponding results of FEM calculation without considering the effect of adhesive layers.The results show that effective elastic property parameters decreases slightly because of the impact of adhesive layers.
