EXPERIMENT MODELING OF THE FINITE THERMO-HYPERELASTICITY FOR FIBER-REINFORCED RUBBER COMPOSITES

Mechanical behaviors for a kind of two-family fiberreinforced rubber composite are studied by uniaxial tension tests with a varying temperature fields using a Zwick020 material test machine.Stress-strain relation curves for the rubber composite and the pure rubber are attained under different temperatures. The effect of temperature on the deformation of the material is analyzed.A strain energy function to catch the finite thermo-hyperelastic behaviors of the rubber composite material is developed using the least square method.Material constants are also determined from the experimental results. The agreement between the calculated and the experiment results are good. The thermo-hyperelastic strain energy function proposed here may have a practical use for the rubber products with two-family fiberreinforced rubber composites.
