APPLICATION OF NCS SOIL AGENT IN TREATING THE SUPER-WET SOIL

The composite solidified material—NCS soil agent is composed of lime,cement and SCA.Thereinto,SCA is the inorganic material of high performance and strong water-absorbent.According to the treatment projects,the super-wet soil in Yaan area of Sichuan province is improved by the lime,cement and NCS soil agent.Based on the results of indoor test,the engineering characteristics of the improved super-wet soil such as compaction characteristics,unconfined compressive strength are studied.Furthermore,the relations between the engineering characteristics of the improved super-wet soil and the quantity of the additive are analysized.The researches show that:(l) the water content of the improved super-wet soil decreases in a large extent:(2) the unconfined compressive strength improves obviously;(3)the optimum water content is bigger than the initial soil.
