COMPOSITE PROPELLANT DEWETTING SIMULATION BASED ON CZM MODEL AND CONTACT ANGLE MEASUREMENTS
The composite propellant is the high filled participate elastomeric matrix composite.Debonding of particle/matrix interfaces can significantly affect its macroscopic mechanics behavior. How to model the propellant material and describe damage processes has been a long standing quest. This paper provides an effective method to link the macro-scale to the mesoscale through combining contact angle measurement experiments and multiscale finite element simulation based on cohesive model, the effect of microstructural damage on the macroscopic constitutive response of propellant is shown.
