Reflections on the Reform of Ideological and Political Education in Institutes of Higher Learning
Ideological and political education in colleges serves as the main channel to improve the ideological and moral quality of college students. However, in recent years, ideological and political education in colleges is in an awkward predicament and it has the tendency of becoming a mere formality. Therefore, it has become an urgent issue for colleges to enhance and improve ideological and political education work and bring into full play the role of ideological and political education course. Ideological and political education in colleges should adhere to the peopleoriented principle and focus on the problems and doubts that college students may have in real life. Meanwhile, the building of teaching faculty for ideological and political theory course should be enhanced to strengthen the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
