Practice Research of Energy-saving Cars Competition Based on Task-driven Mode

This article discussed existing problems of practice teaching in vehicle engineering, and proposed a taskdriven, project-oriented mode of practice teaching. The paper described the implementation process of the specific mode in detail. As the Energy-saving Vehicle Competition for example, it included task decomposition, hierarchical training and teachers guidelines during the task practice course. Clear task and the target vehicle was the source of students propulsion and passion; Creative design and self-practice was dominant in whole process, while teachers guidelines was auxiliary when necessary. Combined with the competition and training process, a new scientific evaluation system of practice teaching was established. Finally, it summed up the promoted effect of the contest to the students training and laboratory construction.
