The Opportunities for Sunlight Sports in Ivory Tower-Analysis of the Impetus and Resistance of Current Sports Culture Construction in Colleges
This paper states and analyses the impetus and resistance of current sports culture construction in colleges by drawing on the practice of sports culture on campus and using literature data and logical analysis. It then points out that some forces propel current sports culture development in colleges, which includes a variety of aspects, for example, the development of the society and economy, social and campus culture and the colleges themselves, the effect of Beijing Olympic Games, public policy, law and regulation and the rejuvenation of the nation traditional sports culture. Meanwhile, there are some factors hindering the development of current sports culture construction in colleges, for instance, some misconceptions, lack of professional quality of sports culture construction professionals, after effect of exam-oriented education, insufficient fund to the growing university and increasing number of students, backward sports infrastructure, etc.. The author hopes that the research results can provide reference for the construction of sports culture in colleges.
