The Research on the Implicit Mechanism of Attitude Formation in Pre-school Children
How people form their attitudes is an important question for discussion in social cognition research. Hidden covariation detection (HCD) paradigm is used to explore the characteristics of implicit attitude formation and whether they could form the implicit evaluation attitude. The research got the findings: there is HCD effects in pre-school children, and subjective measure showed no evidence that subjects have any useful explicit knowledge, which indicates that attitude formed implicitly through HCD.
