Web Competitive Technology Intelligence Monitoring
This case study seeks to show how to monitor competitive technology intelligence using information acquired from the internet, which are of key importance in technology innovation and technology change because they can be voluminous in availability, quickly accessed, inexpensive and accessible easily by appropriate implementation and use of information monitoring tools.From the perspective of how to use web resources in the competitive technology sense-making process, an analysis framework for scanning and monitoring of technology innovation and technology change are described, and the preconditions necessary for efficient technology intelligence processes are shown.Challenges faced in utilizing web information resources and effective practice advises are discussed.Our methodology may be useful for organizations and enterprises which are considering creating competitive advantage by technology innovation.
