Pricing Policy of Supermarkets Fresh Agricultural Products Based on Demand-Price Elasticity
Demand-price elasticity reflects the changes in the relationship between the need and price. In order to make the price more reasonable, moreover, to improve the supermarkets sales and accelerate the reaction ability of the market, based on the inventory theory and the conditions of profit-maximization, a pricing model that considered the factor of demand-price elasticity was established for supermarkets fresh products. Then a pricing strategy which was a reference for the supermarket could be got and the relationship between pricing and demand-price elasticity could also be obtained from the model. Finally, the applicability of the model was verified by the numerical analysis, and the conclusions showed that the pricing model had certain theoretical and practical reference value.
