A Finite Element Analysis for the Connecting Rod of Diesel Engine
The boundary conditions and the force status of the connecting rod were calculated in this paper, and the components of the connecting rod were divided into grids by hypermesh, the boundary condition of the Diesel Engines Connecting Rod of ZS1100 was set by Ansys, and the connecting rod was finite element analysis. This paper obtained the maximum stress of the connecting rod was at the surface parts of the connecting rods bolt seat and the force echogram of the contact region. Analysis the connecting rods fatigue analysis with Smiths graph method, and checked the connecting rods safety factor. The results showed that the materials of the components of the connecting rod could satisfy work requirements.
