Molecular Cloning and Characterization of PDK1 gene from Inner Mongolia Cashmere Goat (Capra hircus)
PDK1, 3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase-1, is a member of the AGC family. It contributes in regulating many processes including cell metabolism, growth, proliferation, and survival. In this study, PDK1 partial cDNA was amplified by RT-PCR from Inner Mongolia Cashmere goat (Capra hircus) and sequenced. The molecular characterization of the PDK1 gene was described. The amplified fragment is 1141bp in length and CDS is 1008bp, corresponding to a polypeptide of 335 amino acids residues with 3831 kDa predicted molecular mass. The cDNA nucleotide sequence has 88%97% identity with that of human and bovine. The goat PDK1 partial cDNA was cloned.
