Experiment and Simulation on Soil Water Movement under Alternate Drip Irrigation
Alternate irrigation is a new manner of water saving irrigation. In this paper, the Hydrus-2D model was performed for the alternate drip irrigation under three drip flows. The results showed it was good to use Hydrus-2D to simulate the soil water movement under alternate drip irrigation. Irrigation amount and time can be determined reasonable based on the predictions of Hydrus-2D and the depth of root zone. This study provided a foundation for a further research on soil water movement under alternate drip irrigation.
