Studies On High Clean Rice Bran Oil Refining Process
Rice bran oil is one kind of extremely popular health oil which is rich in variety of nutrient substances. Rice bran oil resources in China are abundant. The crude oil by rice bran processing contains many impurities. This study aimed to improve the refining quality of rice bran oil. By comparing the effects of acid degumming and enzymatic degumming processes, the experiment results indicated that the enzymatic degumming process had mild reaction conditions, low energy consumption and better degumming effect. The optimum process conditions obtained were as follows: temperature 50℃, enzyme dosage 40mg/kg, pH 5.1, 60 minutes. It could reduce the phosphorus content in the oil to 8.78 mg/kg. The bleaching process adopted complex adsorbents contained activated clay and active carbon. The optimum process conditions as follows: temperature 95℃, complex adsorbent dosage 5%, active carbon: activated clay 1:14. Then we used the dielectric separating device to further refining. It could remove impurities in microns, and the solid particles removing rate was over 90%. This study developed a modified refining process of high clean rice bran oil.
