Study on the Antioxidation Effect of Polyphenols from Walnut Husk in Vivo
To study the antioxidant effect of polyphenols from walnut husk in vivo. The Kunming mice were randomly divided into a control group, a low-dose group, a middle-dose group and a high-dose group, n=10;the protein content, the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX), the content of maleic dialdehyde (MDA) m serum and liver tissue of the mice from different groups were determinated. The results showed that polyphenols of walnut husk could increase the protein content, activites of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) in serum and liver tissue, and decrease maleic dialdehyde (MDA) content simultaneously. Polyphenols of walnut husk have strong antioxidant activity in vivo.
