Analysis and Prediction on Water Using and Pollution Control of Electronic Industry
An example of an integrated circuit chip (ICC) project was taken to study environmental impact of electronic industry. Its engineering features, water pollution and prediction and treatment measures had been investigated and analyzed. As far as water pollution in the process of ICC, it would mainly produce industrial wastewater such as, Acid & alkali waste water, Fluoro-waste water, Ammoniac waste water, Polishing waste water and Organic wastewater etc. The total water supply of the project was 5160 m3/d and total drainage was 4270 m3/d in which 2920 m3/d of industrial waste water needed to be treated. If having been treated, F, NH3-N, COD(Chemical Oxygen Demand) and SS(Suspended Solid) concentrations in effluent of industrial wastewater would be 2.6 mg/L, 2.6 mg/L, 164 mg/L and 45.2 mg/L respectively. These results showed that the treated waste water could reach the requirements of level 3 standards of Wastewater Comprehensive Discharge Standard GB 89781996. Therefore, this project is feasible on the aspect of water environmental impact.
